Besar, pronounced "beh-SAHR", is one of our most popular handbags and also makes a wonderful match to our set of travel bags. Zippers that extend down both sides make this bag easy to open. 

Additional features include an interior zippered pocket, cell phone pouch and open pocket, double zippers and flap with magnetic closure. 

Each Handbag Is Unique
Laga embroidered handbags, travel bags and accessories are sewn on a non-electric treadle machine. There is no template or stencil used; all the designs are committed to memory and hand-guided, free motion, an artform with traditional designs that are indigenous to Aceh.

All handbags are sewn with cotton thread on nylon-polyester fabric with a water-resistant 1/16" polyurethane backing. The lining inside our cosmetic bag and coin purse is made of nylon. Our embroidered handbags are lined with satin, and travel bags are padded with polyester batting for extra protection.
